Magnums Butlers was founded by Josephine Ive in 1987. English-born Josephine Ive has vast experience within in the hospitality industry including training as a professional chef and teacher, running her own catering business, and then working as a professional butler/valet in England for seven years. Magnums Butlers ran its first Butler / Valet training course in Australia in 1987, and from this grew a gradual demand for training towards this particular style of personal service. Through word-of-mouth recommendation, Magnums Butlers has trained top professionals throughout Asia and Australia.
